Send Chloe north to deal with some wyvern riders in the sky to make that airspace traversable. As we stated, this battle is for sure designed to be a bit of a breather after the war you just fought. We don’t really have a recommended Emblem lineup beyond that, so feel free to try out any other Emblem combinations that work for you. Ivy or even Rosado are good choices as well, but so long as Sigurd is on a durable flier, we can approach and kill Abyme whenever we want. To help with that, the only major Emblem Ring we’ll need for crucial strategy is putting Chloe with Sigurd. If you’ve got the right equipment and power, this battle can be over in a snap. The one on the left contains a Speedwing and will have a thief show up and likely get to it before you do. Last but not least, there are two treasure chests - one to the far north of the ship on the left and one tucked away in a corner on the ship on the right. Anyone can use the cannon they don’t have to be a tome or archer unit. There are three artillery units to look out for: enemies occupy two magic artillery stations that can shoot at you from a distance while the cannon at the center of your ship can be fired and create fire terrain over a pretty wide area. He’s the main reason we have Warp/Rescue because once he switches sides, enemies will swarm in on him, which could be a problem for those on Classic mode. His name is Lindon and he is recruitable once you get Alear, Ivy, or Hortensia to talk to him. Good news is no one has any kind of staves to heal or cause status effects on you.īiggest thing to look for is on the main deck of the same ship Abyme is on, there is a rather hesitant looking old mage. Ship on the right has lots of tomes, so keep high Res people over there. Ship on the left has lots of axes, so send a sword that way. Your target, Abyme, is far north of the ship to your right. Your forces will start in the center, with enemies on the two ships to either side of you. Three ships are in a row, connected by a few bridges. But Emblem Sigurd is the priority.Īn infinitely simpler map awaits this time in comparison to the previous battle, though it might get a little compact at times. There simply isn’t a unit that won’t benefit from having Canter.Īnd bond with Leif too, just so we don’t sound like we’re neglecting the Sage Lord. It does cost 1,000 SP so you may need to grind a little bit for some people, but it only costs 400 Bond Fragments per person to head to the Arena and get to Bond Level 5 with Sigurd. There are tougher battles ahead, and giving your units the ability to move a few spaces after they perform an action will be crucial. When you saw him last, you might not have had the SP and you’ve also gotten many more new allies since then. While you might hold off on doing Sigurd’s Max Bond paralogue, we recommend getting everyone you can to inherit Emblem Sigurd’s Canter Ability. There’s a potential new ally you’ll perhaps wish to get out of things alive.īond With Sigurd And Get Everybody Canter The only major thing we’d say to have on hand before the battle this time is perhaps give one of your stave users a Rescue and/or Warp. Get everyone some better weaponry from the Weapon Shop as well, since that’s been restocked. Preparations are nowhere near as dire as they were last time, but if you have units that you haven’t promoted yet, you now have the unlimited availability in the Item Shop to do so. Sigurd’s is also more difficult than Lief’s if you’re looking for an order to go in. They can be done whenever you’re ready and they’re more difficult than their level indicators would suggest. Regardless, we recommend holding off on these for now, especially if you’re tired and need to stock up after taking down six commanders at once. They may be necessary, especially in Sigurd’s case, because you may have spent enough time with him previously to get him to Level 10 with some people. Emblem Leif has Paralogue - The Sage Lord, while Emblem Sigurd has Paralogue - The Holy Knight. Paralogue - The Sage Lord and Paralogue - The Holy Knight Not only do they have more of rare items than before, but for many rare items, they now have infinity stock, including Master and Second Seals! This means you can advance or reclass as many people as you can afford to and the Seals will always be available. But the biggest new addition to the Somniel is the restocked Weapons and Items Shops. Wyvern Riding now has a Hard difficulty that will get you more Bond Fragments upon completion. Play Chapter 18 - Before the Battle - New Unlocks at the Somniel
